I remeber making these when I was younger. They are a quick and easly little treat to make and especially nice in the summer when you want cookies but don’t want to heat up the house more with the oven. You can eat them plain, frost them with icing or just sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
2 sqs. chocolate or 6 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Melt 2 squares chocolate or use the cocoa. Add 1/2 cup melted butter. Add beaten eggs and sugar. Fold in flour and vanilla. Drop from teaspoon onto hot waffle iron (do not grease). Bake less than 2 minutes. Frosting of your choice may be put on the cookies when cooled.
